Stranger Things | La Llagosta – Barcelona
Graffiti / Mural from the Netflix series Stranger Things.
Artists: ZuriK & Milouz (TSF)
Concept:
Stranger Things is one of those recent great series that, despite its ups and downs, has stayed with us through the years. I started watching season 1 shortly after it premiered and fell in love with the characters and their story. Just like with the Arcane mural, I wanted to pay homage to this series that has been with me for 10 years through numerous chapters of my life, both good and bad. I’m one of those who regrets that the series is ending in its fifth season, but at the same time, I’m grateful, since every good story needs an ending, and although this one was a bit bittersweet, I’m left with the journey and the development of its characters, and the magnificent sense of friendship they managed to convey throughout all this time.
I created the mural side-by-side with Milouz (TSF), to whom I didn’t have to explain the idea twice, as he also loves the series. He is an incredible artist and an amazing draftsman who, instead of copying the Demogorgon exactly as it appears on screen, drew his own version of it, just as he wanted to represent it, which gives the mural a unique touch.
