About the work: The gaze has been a recurring element in my work in recent years. It’s important to me that my characters always have a gaze that borders on defiance, a gaze of independence, yet at the same time, calm. I always choose to combine faces with letters because graffiti is a very important part of my work. The colors were chosen to contrast with the typical tones usually seen on the island, thus bringing a little bit of something different to the place.
