The work seeks to be a point of convergence with Graffiti, featuring abstractly rendered letters where the initial and terminal lines are not fully delineated; in this way, it plays with the concept of form and space, evoking the same method I propose for arranging elements when painting murals. The omission of characters or figurative elements responds to a vindication of graffiti writing as a language powerful enough on its own to bear the weight of the image. The piece was created entirely with spray paint on canvas and features a matte varnish finish.
